Technologies in use
GCJ Editor has not installed traffic analytics, advertising pixels or profiling features. The bonus form is part of this website and does not embed a Brevo form. The browser loads pages, images, fonts and technical resources needed for the service.
Cloudflare may use technical identifiers to secure and protect the website, according to its documentation. Their behaviour can depend on the request and the active protection level.
Form protection
The bonus form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile in managed mode. The widget loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com and generates a verification token; the official widget configuration does not enable optional pre-clearance. The Turnstile token is separate from the bonus session and the choice to receive publishing emails.
Bonus session
After email confirmation, the website sets the technical gcj_bonus cookie to enable the requested PDF download. Its maximum lifetime is seven days; it has HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax attributes and the /api/bonus/ path. The protected download cannot work without this session.
The PDF is not exposed as a public static file: the website checks the session before delivering it.
Email and external sites
Brevo sends the transactional confirmation email. The optional publishing-updates box does not authorise non-essential cookies. Amazon links open an external website governed by its own rules; GCJ Editor does not control Amazon cookies.
If non-essential technologies are introduced, we will update this page and first collect any consent required. For personal-data requests and withdrawals, contact privacy@gcj-editor.com.
